The Mineral Extraction Site Project notes the mapping evidence for the site. Pre 1930 the site is shown as a brickfield and kiln , the 'tile works' appears in annotation from then onwards. The kiln is noted as having been demolished in the 1970s (B5).

An extractive pit at the site of a 19th century brickworks is visible on historic aerial photographs and on remote sensing data as earthworks and was mapped as part of the North Buckinghamshire Aerial Investigation and Mapping project (EBC18304). Located at Tinker’s end, Winslow and centred at SP 476713 227217. There is no sign of the kiln structure/building, only an irregular shaped pit. The lidar visualisation shows very uneven ground in this field. (7-8)
