Description

Grade II. C15, or C16, altered and extended C17, C18 and later. T-plan. Timber-frame, cased in C18 brick. Tiled roof. Two storeys. Road front has flint plinth on left, first floor band, modern gabled porch in centre with 3-light modern leaded casement each side, two similar windows to first floor with 2-light in centre. Rear wing has flint and brick wall to north with one 3-light casement to each floor, brick and stone roughcase to south elevation, weatherboarded outbuilding attached to east end. Interior: rear wing contains arch braced roof of late medieval hallhouse. Floored in C17 with chamfered oak beams and joists. 1687 carved on fireplace lintel (B4).
