Description

SPOT CALLED SHEPHERD'S GRAVE - COMMANDING WIDE VIEWS OF SURROUNDING COUNTRY. TRADITION THAT THIS WAS FAVOURITE SPOT OF SHEPHERD NAMED FAITHFUL & HE WAS BURIED THERE WITH EPITAPH CUT IN THE TURF. SITE VISITED ABOUT 1847, WORD 'FAITHFUL' ALL THAT WAS VISIBLE. SINCE PLOUGHED (B1).
