E SIDE OF VILLA PARALLEL TO LONG AXIS OF HOUSE & C.50M FROM IT WAS A BOUNDARY WALL. APPARENTLY NO TILE BONDING SINCE TILES ONLY IN VICINITY OF GATE. 1M WIDE AT FOOTINGS BUT REDUCED TO 0.6M BY 2 INTERNAL OFFSETS. NO EVIDENCE OF NATURE OF COPING. MAY HAVE CONTINUED ON N-S STRETCH TO RIVER (B8).
