Description

Dimensions - Length 15m, Width 14m.
Plan Form - Subrectangular.
Grade II. C17 with one C15-C16 window. Rubble stone. Hipped tiled roof with brick stacks to centre and right of east front, modern skylight over LH bay. 2 storeys. 2 irregular bays. RH bay contains panelled door under timber lintel to right, and 4-light Perpendicular stone window with moulded mullions, cusped arches and hood-mould with carved heads to inner stops. LH bay has C19 angled bay with sash windows; first floor has wooden casements, 2-light to right, 3-light to left. South front is gabled at west end and is irregular. Interior has moulded spine beams, an early C17 staircase with pierced balusters, and one room with C18 panelling (B8).
'Mansion with buildings & yard' (1790) probably this house? NGR to Manor Farm (B5).
