Description

PAYNE'S 1862-3 EXCAVATIONS FOUND MUCH BROKEN DECORATED PLASTER (B2). FRAGMENTS OF PAINTED WALL PLASTER OF 2-3 PERIODS DISTINGUISHABLE BY DIFFERENCES IN COLOUR & TEXTURE OF PLASTER BACKING (B8). R WATTS COLLECTS 2 PLAIN PIECES FROM APSIDAL BATH & OTHERS FROM GENERAL AREA AFTER HARTLEY'S EXCAVATION (B13). In-situ wall plaster identified during watching brief carried out by Oxford Archaeology in 2002 (B19).
