Description
1722 TESSELATED PAVEMENT FOUND. SEVERAL COLOURS: WILD BEAST IN CENTRE (B1). 1931-2: 6 PAVEMENTS FOUND & RECORDED IN SITU (B6). 1862: PAYNE FOUND 1 ALMOST COMPLETE MOSAIC, ANOTHER WITH GUILLOCHE PATTERN & COLOURED TESSERAE MARKING A 3RD (B2,B8). R WATTS FINDS BLUE & OTHER TESSERAE BEFORE 1954 EXCAVATION (B13).
