Description

DURING DEMOLITION OF CHURCH, 2 PROBABLE BURIALS (15 COFFIN HANDLES OF 2 DIFFERENT DESIGNS) FOUND UNDER VESTRY FLOOR. 1M DEPTH OF 'COFFIN STAIN' SUGGESTED A 'DOUBLE DECKER' ARRANGEMENT FOR COFFINS. PHOTOS OF BURIALS, ALSO CHURCH SHORTLY BEFORE DEMOLITION, & RB DITCH (CASS4872) ON CAS FILE (B3).
