BRONZE SAUCER BROOCH, C. AD550-600. FOUND BY METAL DETECTOR ON E BANK OF RIVER TWIN, C.10-15 YDS S OF NEW (1976) BRIDGE. WAS AMONG STONES; FINDER SCRAPES 'BARNACLES' FROM BROOCH. DRAWING & PHOTO ON CAS FILE. IN SAME GENERAL AREA, 20 ROMAN COINS ALSO FOUND. NGR TO ABOVE FINDSPOT (B1).
