Description

LARGE CINERARY URN DISCOVERED CONTAINING CHIEFLY CALCINED HUMAN BONES. SMALLER URN CONTAINED WHITISH POWDER CONSISTING OF CHALK, FLINTS, WOOD, CHARCOAL, SPICULAE OF BONE & LIME CARBONATE (B1).
WIDESPREAD BRONZE AGE PRACTICE OF BURYING CREMATIONS IN URNS WITH MOUTH DOWNWARDS (B5).
