DURING TRENCHING FOR REPLACEMENT OIL PIPELINE DITCH 2M WIDE RECORDED (GOP 80:132) CONTAINING POTTERY. 2ND DITCH (133) TO E WAS UNDATED. POSSIBLE SAND QUARRYING OBSERVED FURTHER E AGAIN FROM WHICH PIECE OF ROMAN TEGULA & PIECE OF MED/POST MED ROOF TILE WAS RECOVERED. SECTIONS & LOCATION MAP FILED (B1).
