POSSIBLE PIT DUG TO OBTAIN IRONSTONE OR COULD HAVE BEEN POND THOUGH SIDES SOMEWHAT STEEP. LOCATION DRAWING & SECTION FILED. POTTERY WITHIN PIT (B1).
