WHEN TRENCH CUT FOR REPLACEMENT OIL PIPELINE SUBSTANTIAL PIT (112) DISCOVERED. FEATURE OCCURS IN AREA OF INTERMITTENT IRONSTONE OUTCROP RECORDED AT SP7507 0921. POSSIBLE PIT DUG TO OBTAIN IRONSTONE OR COULD HAVE BEEN POND THOUGH SIDES SOMEWHAT STEEP. LOCATION DRAWING & SECTION FILED. POTTERY WITHIN PIT (B1).
