Description

HOUSE PLATFORM, BUILDING RUBBLE MARKS SITE OF BUILDING. FOUND BY MR W FILBY, 1972/1973 (B1).
PHOTO FROM BEHIND SHARDELOES SHOWS A LARGE RECTANGULAR CROPMARK, C.140 X 70M WITH AT LEAST 1 INTERNAL DIVISION. PERHAPS SITE OF PRE-1758 SHARDELOES, THE 'OLD' HOUSE IN THE DRAKE PAPERS IN THE BODLEIAN (B2).
