Description

MANY HUMAN BONES INCLUDING SEVERAL SKULLS FOUND DURING EXCAVATION WORK FOR THE NEW MUNIMENT ROOM & DURING UNDERPINNING THE MUSEUM PREMISES, BUILT IN ?1714 (B1). THE BONES HAD BEEN DISTURBED & REBURIED, PROBABLY WHEN THE OLD BUILDING WAS CONSTRUCTED. PART OF THE MINSTER CEMETERY? (CASS 02575:01:001).
