NAME OF GREAT SAUNDERTON GIVEN TO PROBABLE SITE OF FORMER CHURCH, W OF REMAINING CHURCH, & IN 1807, AT ENCLOSURE, FOUNDATIONS DISCOVERED IN GARDENS OF PUBLIC HOUSE. OLD MANOR HOUSE MENTIONED IN WILL DATED 1610 (B8).
POSSIBLE THAT MOATED SITE OF CHURCH FARM (05:000) IS SITE OF MANOR HOUSE (B7).
Negative evaluation carried out by AS&C in November 2008 at Church Farm House (B15).
