SITE OF BRICKWORKS APPARENTLY ACTIVE IN EARLY C20, NOW MARKED BY SEVERAL PITS. AT SU9375 8550 IS A BRICK CHIMNEY BASE & REMAINS OF KILN FURNACE & UNDER- GROUND TUNNELS (FOR DRYING BRICKS?). AT SU9375 8557 A CIRCULAR PLATFORM MAY BE REMAINS OF A PUGMILL ( FURTHER DETAIL: SEE REPORT)(B3). SEE ALSO CASS 1215200001
