IN 1760 AN ICEHOUSE, BUILT OF BRICK & THATCH & COSTING £32,1S.7D, WAS BUILT AT HAMPDEN HOUSE (B9).
REMAINS OF AN ICEHOUSE SURVIVE APPROX AT NGR. OF BRICK & DOMED IT IS C.4M HIGH. ENTRANCE PASSAGE, RUINED, IS C.2.7M ABOVE FLOOR. SITUATED IN AN ELONGATED MOUND, ITS CONDITION IS POOR (B10).
