IN TRIAL EXCAVATION, A COLLAPSED WITCHERT BOUNDARY WALL (FORMER CHURCHYARD BOUNDARY WALL) IS MAIN FEATURE; ALSO AREA OF RELATIVELY RECENT HARDSTANDING IN NE CORNER OF EXCAVATED AREA. RUNNING E-W ACROSS SITE IS A BOUNDARY WALL FOOTING. PHOTO OF COLLAPSED WALL FILED (B1).
