Description
Grade II. Pair of walls with terminal piers and gate piers flanking gates to Danesfield grounds. Circa 1874. Knapped flint with brick dressings and off-set pitched stone coping. Low walls, stepped down to right. Square piers with chamfered angles. Larger gate piers have stone bands and caps; smaller terminal piers have octagonal pyramid stone caps. Included for group value. Wrought iron gates inserted 1984 are not included (B5).
