Description

Among material from old ?manor house (01:000) were Roman brickbats, probably reused from nearby Roman house (B1).
Former gardener at Poynatts House found no Roman material (B2).
Local resident found pottery & structural remains in ploughed field in Skirmett as a boy c.1912. Showed them to A H Cocks (B4).
