MEDIEVAL VILLAGE RESEARCH GROUP HAS NO FURTHER INFO. NO EVIDENCE ON AP'S OR ON GROUND, THOUGH MUST HAVE BEEN LANDSCAPING AROUND ENTRANCE TO HUGHENDEN PARK. NUMBER OF MANORS & HAMLETS (SEE 2696:01) IN PARISH SUGGESTS SETTLEMENT ALWAYS DISPERSED (B2).
Hughenden,SU 865955, accepted as DMV (nothing significant on available Aps RAF 47). (B3)
The area around the church shows signs of slight terracing but no definite traces of a DMV (B4)
