OLD WELL BEARS THE NAME 'MONKS' WELL' (B1). 'WELLHOUSE' AT NGR (B2). WELL-HOUSE IS A BRICK & FLINT BUILDING WITH AN OPEN ARCHED ENTRANCE ON W SIDE. WOODEN-FRAMED WINDING GEAR STILL SURVIVES (B3).
