Description
2 URNED CREMATIONS. PROBABLY PART OF A SMALL CEMETERY, PERHAPS A FAMILY GROUP, WHICH WOULD EXTEND BEYOND FOOTINGS TRENCH IN WHICH URNS FOUND. 1 URN UNACCOMPANIED, OTHER HAD A SMALL POPPYHEAD BEAKER RESTING AGAINST IT. BEAKER SUGGESTS A DATE OF AD100-150 (B1).

CREMATIONS OF TWO ADULTS, ONE OF WHICH WAS PROBABLY FEMALE AND UNDER MIDDLE AGE (B3).
Negative watching brief at rear of house (B4).
SP90373000. Two Romano-British cremations, one accompanied by a C1st-C2nd poppyhead beaker were found during building work by R Dawson in Great Brickhill (B3 and B5).
