Plan Form - OVAL
WITHIN SAM 144. KILN E, 1 OF 2 KILNS EXCAVATED IN 1978. INSIDE FIELD, N OF TEMPLE FARM, BRILL. KILN E PREVIOUSLY SAMPLED 1961 FOR ARCHAEOMAGNETIC DATING PURPOSES (SEE CASS 00576); WAS A ROUGH OVAL OVEN, OPPOSED FLUES, WITH CENTRAL PEDESTAL. SEVERAL REBUILDINGS. 1ST HALF C14 (B3,B5).
