1876 MAP MARKS ICEHOUSE AT NGR (NOT ON SUBSEQUENT EDITIONS) (1). ICEHOUSE SURVIVES IN FAIR CONDITION. USUAL DESIGN: DOMED & COVERED BY A MOUND. ENTRANCE PASSAGE (FACING NE) IS RUINED. DEPTH OF ICE WELL NOT KNOWN SINCE FILLED WITH RUBBISH (2).
