Summary

Early nineteenth century windmill at London End, built 1811 and disused 1880. A steam engine was installed for a time. Built of brick and flint with a cement covering. It has now been demolished.

Description

Dimensions - Radius 3m.
Plan Form - Octagonal.
Remains of mill, flint with brick dressings, cemented over on outside. Built 1811, disused 1880. Octagonal shape merges into circular tower about 2/3 way up. Most of cap & all cap gallery & machinery gone. It has now been demolished(B1).
Ruin at NGR in last stages of collapse (B2-5).
Top floor: wooden framework with slates (B6).
