Description

Small yard with 1 updraught kiln with c.7 fire holes. Also 1 lime kiln. Made bricks & tiles & burnt lime. By 1920s tile production stopped. c.50,000 bricks produced p/a in 1920s - high quality facing bricks. Works closed in 1920s. Only remains are shed, foundations of lime kiln & water filled clay pit (B4).
