NO CLUE HAS COME TO LIGHT AS TO THE DATE OF THE WINDMILL'S EXISTENCE, NOR IS THERE A MILL-MOUND ON THE SUMMIT - AN IMPOSING PROMONTORY (B2).

SP 66052453. Situated at the W end of a ridge is a slight unsurveyable depression, about 10.0m diameter and 0.2m deep, with an associated scatter of stone, tile and post-medieval pottery. This may mark the site of the windmill inferred from authority 1 (B4).
