DURING RENOVATION OF COTTAGES (.02) AT KENNEL FARM IN 1983, C.20 BLOCKS OF CARVED AND PLAIN SHELLY LIMESTONE AND SANDSTONE, INCLUDING 2 SMALL COLUMN BASES AND 3 FOLIATE STRIPS, AND TOMB COVERS? USED AS RUBBLE FOOTINGS, BENEATH C19 BRICK FLOOR. SOURCE OF STONE UNKNOWN: A LOCAL CHURCH? OR MISSENDEN ABBEY? (B1,B6).
