Description
Grade II. C17 or earlier timber framed range with later alterations and additions. Brick ground floor, painted plaster infill above. Tiled roof, higher at west end, cross gable at east. Large projecting chimney at west end with tiled offsets. Three unequal gables to street, two storeys, three 2-light barred Yorkshire casements to first floor, three modern shop bow windows and two glazed doors to ground floor. South gable has exposed timber framing. Rear elevation has two gables, timber framed with plaster infill. Large rear wing also timber framed, plaster infill, modern windows, tiled roof. Modern wing attached, parallel to main block, in imitation of timber frame (B1).
