Deserted settlement consisting of possible toft and croft boundaries, hollow ways and house platforms all visible as earthworks on 2012 LiDAR. Picture greatly confused by possible later drainage channels. (B16).
HS2 test pitting survey idenified features relating to the DMV. Features included cobbled floor surfaces, build up layers, and deposits of hearth material (B17).

An extensive and sprawling medieval deserted settlement is visible on historic aerial photographs and remote sensing data as earthworks and was mapped as part of the Aylesbury Vale Aerial Investigation and Mapping project (EBC18604). Located in fields S, W and N of Doddershall House and centred at SP 71882 20249, a complex of interconnected boundary ditches or trackways, platforms, boundary banks, hollows, ponds and terraced ground extends about 1,700 metres WSW-ENE. The boundary ditch system appears to represent a planned settlement, linear ditches bounding a myriad of contiguous rectilinear enclosures. The orientation of the earthworks changes: in the SW the enclosures are aligned WSW-ENE/NNW-SSE, changing to N-S/W-E in the centre and then in the NE to SW-NE/SE-NW (18-23).
