Description

IN MAKING A NEW FOUNDATION, WORKMEN CAME UPON THE CROWN OF A BRICKED ARCH, DISCLOSING A PASSAGE 4FT WIDE, 7FT HIGH RUNNING DIAGONALLY UNDER DODDERSHALL HOUSE. IT WAS NOT EXPLORED BUT CLOSED UP. RELICS TAKEN OUT FROM IT SEEM TO INDICATE A RB PERIOD (B10).
UNDER- GROUND PASSAGE STILL EXISTS (B6).
