Description

Ionic cross in churchyard, erected 1908, to memory of Thomas Harding burned on 30 May 1532 at N end of Chesham (B1).
Site of Harding's execution (condemned as a heretic) still pointed out, as is his house at Dungrove Farm. Site of stake near White Hill School (B2).
