WATERFILLED? IRREGULAR-SHAPED POND WITH CENTRAL ISLAND. RCHM SAY IS A MOAT (B1).
OS SAY IS NOT A MOAT BUT POSSIBLY A DECOY POND OR ORNAMENTAL DRAINAGE FEATURE. IN JULY 1977 THE POND WAS RAPIDLY SILTING; THE ISLAND WAS 2M ABOVE THE LEVEL OF THE POND & WAS TREE PLANTED (B2).
