Description

Grade II. Late C16 or early C17 three bay timber-framed barn with 2 bays north addition of same build. Weatherboarded, brick plinth and old tile roofs. Central wagon entry, gabled porch to west. Queen strut truss to left of entry, raking queen post truss to right. Large curved purlin and tie beam braces. Single purlin roof. Long tapering jowls to posts. Some curved wall braces, middle rail. Two north bays with wagon shed under hayloft. Some queen strut roof trusses. Hipped C19 addition to west of bays north of wagon porch (B6).
