Remains of a medieval deserted settlement is visible on historic aerial photographs and remote sensing data as earthworks and was mapped as part of the Aylesbury Vale Aerial Investigation and Mapping project (EBC18604). Located in fields between Fulbrook Farm and Fulbrook House and centred at SP 75080 22625, the settlement is bisected by a modern lane aligned WNW-ESE, but extends over an area about 606 metres N-S and 408 metres W-E. The settlement earthworks comprise a moated site (HER 0034100002 /MBC1115) in the S of the settlement, extending from which is a complex of interconnected boundary ditches and/or trackways and hollow ways, that form at least 20 contiguous rectilinear and subrectangular ditched enclosures and platforms of various sizes. Some of the enclosures have linear earthwork banks along their inner boundaries. One of the ditched enclosures contains a very small block of ridge and furrow cultivation earthworks. On aerial photographs taken in 2021 and recent remote sensing data, the earthworks remain extant (12-16).
