Description

Grade II. Small roofed gateway with self closing pivot action gate. Possibly C18, restored. Two oak posts and beam supporting renewed hipped roof of boards; low double gate attached to central pivotting post, with wooden pulley wheel at top having chain linked through the northern post to a second wheel and large spherical iron counterweight (B6).
