Fishponds and water channels of medieval and/or post medieval date are visible on historic aerial photographs and remote sensing data as extant earthworks and were mapped as part of the Aylesbury Vale Aerial Investigation and Mapping project (EBC18604). Located north of West End, Weston Turville, and centred at SP 85214 11054. Earthworks of water channels and ponds are visible on aerial photographs, fitting in to the ridge and furrow earthworks to the north of West End, Weston Turville. These fishponds are situated approximately 300m north of the moated site at West End (MBC1406) and may have been associated with that site. Some of the water channels are cut through the surrounding ridge and furrow earthworks and are therefore later in date than these. (2-4)
