Description

Grade II. Canal lock. Circa 1800 with later repairs. Brick retaining walls, part rendered, with stone coping. 2 pairs of gates with sluices and winding gear, the quoins dated 1881 and 1888. Some cast iron bollards. Pair of side ponds with sluices and winding gear dated 1879 (B7).
