Description

Grade II. Canal lock. Circa 1800 with later repairs. Brick retaining walls with stone coping. 2 pairs of gates with sluices and winding gear, the quoins dated 1860 and 1898. Cast iron bollards. Pair of side ponds with sluices and winding gear dated 1864 (B7).
