Description
Grade II. Canal lock. Circa 1800 with later repairs. Brick retaining walls, part rendered, with stone coping. 2 pairs of gates with sluices and winding gear, the quoins dated 1869 and 1872. Brick steps at N. end, some cast iron bollards. Pair of side ponds with sluices and winding gear dated 188? (B7).
