Description

Grade II. Canal lock. circa 1800 with later alterations. Brick retaining walls with stone coping. 2 pairs of gates with sluices & winding gear, the quoins dated 1862 & 1867. Brick steps at N end. 2 cast iron bollards. Pair of side ponds with sluices & winding gear dated 1889 (B7).
