FEATURE VISIBLE ON AP'S (B1,B3).
VISIBLE ON GROUND AS BANKED ENCLOSURE; BANK NO MORE THAN C. 0.5M HIGH, WITH SLIGHT DITCH ON OUTSIDE. ON A SLIGHT SLOPE DOWN TO STREAM ON E SIDE OF FIELD. MOST LIKELY INTERPRETATION - A CATTLE ENCLOSURE (B2).
NGR TO FIELD CENTRE (B2).
A rapid examination of air photography shows possible enclosures or drainage around SP 92941654 and SP 93171653 (southeast of Great Seabrook Farm). Both sites are apparently associated with the surrounding ridge and furrow (B3).
