IN DIGGING FOUNDATIONS TO HIS HOUSE MR RUSSELL CUT INTO, IN NW CORNER ADJACENT TO AND UNDER CONCRETE GARAGE DRIVE, A PIT CONTAINING QUANTITY OF POTTERY (01:001). ONLY A PORTION OF PIT SEEN BY MR. FAULKNER AS IT CONTINUED UNDER DRIVE. PIT BUILT OVER WHEN MRS BA STAINTON VISITED SITE (BIBL.1)
