Description

LARGE STEAM ENGINE, USED AS AN AUXILIARY SOURCE OF POWER FOR THE WINDMILL. IT STOOD ON A MASSIVE BED-STONE ON THE GROUND FLOOR, WITH ITS BOILER IN THE OPEN OUTSIDE THE NORTH DOOR. ENGINE & BOILER WERE SOLD FOR SCRAP IN 1914 (B7).
