1 PIT, OR MORE THAN 1 INTERSECTING PIT. DISCOVERED BY WORKMEN DIGGING FOUNDATIONS & SUBSEQUENTLY EXCAVATED. ORIGINALLY THOUGHT TO BE AN UNDERGROUND HUT (B1). SUBSEQUENTLY REINTERPRETED AS PITS (B3). CONTAINED MUCH POTTERY, BONES & A FEW IRON & OTHER OBJECTS. NGR DEDUCED FROM 1905 PHOTOS (B5).
